What is a DPS?
A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is an electronic procurement system that allows suppliers to apply for membership at any time. Unlike traditional frameworks, a DPS is an ‘open market’ solution, offering buyers the flexibility to access a continually updated list of suppliers.

How is a DPS put together?
Following needs assessment and market research, a DPS is established through a two-stage process:
Setup phase
- Advertisement: We publish a notice inviting suppliers to join the DPS.
- Supplier admission: Suppliers who fulfil the selection criteria are accepted into the DPS without any restriction on the number of suppliers.
Award phase
- Invitation to tender: We help our customers to invite all suppliers on the DPS (or within a specific category) to bid for individual contracts, based on the specific requirements.
- Evaluation and award: In collaboration with our customers we evaluate all submitted bids from our suppliers on the DPS, and award contracts on predefined criteria.
